Wi-Fi firm wins hotel contracts

A WARRINGTON-based WiFi specialist has secured deals with two international hotel chains.
Airangel, a leading supplier of wired and wireless branded guest internet access, has won contracts with Marriott Hotels and Crowne Plaza.
It will install its virtual concierge solutions at two London-based Crowne Plaza and Marriott sites.
Airangel has also installed in 10 further Holiday Inn Express sites, including Salford Quays, Glasgow Airport and Newport, in addition to the seven it is already working with. The company, based in Birchwood, now provides guest internet access to over 18,000 hotel bedrooms across the UK.
The company has recently entered into a strategic partnership with an American counterpart, Single Digits Inc, based in New Hampshire. The two firms will share intelligence, technological innovation, multi-lingual global support and field engineering resources.
Dean Wilkinson, managing director of Airangel, said: “We’re increasingly working with clients that have global requirements and entering a strategic partnership of this ilk will help us meet their changing needs.”
