A WOMAN was taken to hospital at Warrington after being dragged from her car and robbed in the early hours of the morning.
The woman, aged 45, was sitting in her car on a small car park off Marsh House Lane at 5.30am on Saturday when she was approached by a man who demanded money.
He pushed a garden pitchfork through the car window, dragged the woman out and threw her to the floor.

The woman was not seriously injured but received treatment at Warrington Hospital for cuts and bruises.
Her attacker is described as in his middle 20s, about 5ft 6 inches tall with short, hair hair and a round face. He was wearing a grey top with a zip at the front.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any information helpful to the police is asked to call DC Carl Davies on 0845 458 000. Alternatively, they can contact the confidential Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.

  1. A strange set of circumstances…a woman in her car alone on a car park at 5.30am saturday morning…a robber carrying a pitchfork in marsh house lane (gardens are not prominent there for people who know the area)…car abandoned only half a mile away
