A 1940s-style street party is to be held in May to mark the 65th anniversary of VE Day – and raise money for the Help for Heroes appeal.
The event is being staged at Grappenhall Community Centre in Bellhouse Lane, Grappenhall on Saturday, May 8 from 6.30pm until late.
The family event will have themed music, quizzes, prizes for the best fancy dress, food and drink.
The £10 ticket price will include food – and children will be admitted for half price.
