£850 for hospice

REGULARS at the Ring ‘o’ Bells Inn, Northwich Road, Lower Stretton, have raised £850 for Claire House Children’s Hospice – to add to the £1,050.00 they raised previously for the hospice. Mine hosts John and Sharlene Brookman have said a big “thank you” to all their customers.

Craft sale
A SALE of arts and crafts takes place at Appleton Parish Hall, on Dudlow Green Road, Appleton today (Saturday) to raise funds for the British Red Cross.

A BUSINESS planning workshop is to be held at The Gateway, on Sankey Street, Warrington on Thursday and Friday, April 15-16 for people interested in starting their own business. The sessions start at 9.30am.

PLANS for a 72-bed care home at the corner of Gainsborough Road and Chester Road, Lower Walton, have been given the green light by Warrington planners.
