Police to hold monthly surgeries

RESIDENTS of Warrington’s Orford area can now quiz their local police officers at regular monthly surgeries.
The Warrington Central Neighbourhood Policing Team is holding regular drop-in sessions at the Orford Park Rangers Cabin.
The surgeries are for people living in the area around Orford Park – an area bounded by Alder Lane, Orford Avenue, Longford Street and Winwick Road.
Date of the next one is April 29 between 11am and noon. Local officers will be on hand to talk to local residents about any issues in the area.
A further surgery is planned for Thursday May 20 at the same time.
PCSO Geoff Prescott said: “We are trying to encourage as many local people as possible to come along to the regular surgeries. This is the ideal opportunity for them to meet local officers face-to-face and to talk to them informally about any issues or concerns they might have.
“Letting us know about any problems allows us to really get to grips with what is happening in the area and to decide on the best ways of dealing with any issues.”
Anyone who cannot get to the surgery but would like to speak to an officer can call 0845 458 6379.
