PUPILS at St Albans Primary School, Warrigton, have been getting creative for National Science week.
They held a competition to design a poster about endangered plants and animals. The winners and runners-up were commended for their detailed research into the reasons species become endangered.
Headteacher Frances Curless said: “The pupils really committed themselves to learning about the issues facing our planet. The posters they produced showed imagination and understanding, and I am very proud of all their hard work.”
The theme for the week was ‘Earth’ to complement the International Year of Biodiversity.
