Hotel set to create 40 new jobs

A HOTEL near Warrington is set to create up to 40 new jobs to cope with an expected upturn in business.
Projected increased levels of business in the first quarter of 2010 at De Vere Daresbury Park in Warrington have prompted a recruitment drive on an unprecedented scale.
The De Vere hotel has booked a ‘Recruitment Open Day’ tomorrow, Tuesday (Feb 9) to search for likely candidates.
The day will run from 10am until 7pm and anyone is invited to attend. Members of the senior team will be there to discuss the roles and give general information about the hotel and the overall company. Simply turn up when it’s convenient in your day!
Upwards of 40 vacancies, both full-time and part-time are being created, both junior and senior roles in housekeeping, restaurant, bars, kitchen, reception, maintenance, coffee shop etc.
Calum Colquhoun, General Manager said “we have been delighted with the level of enquiries that we have had in the last few weeks for 2010……this has prompted us to
revise the staffing levels throughout the hotel to ensure that we maintain high standards of service whilst dealing with the additional volumes of business. We are looking for people with real drive and outgoing personalities to be part of our already established team.”
