Ostriches on the rampage!

2

A pair of ostriches went on the rampage after they escaped from a farm at Frodsham.
The two birds – each more than four feet tall and said to be “aggressive” were chased by their owner, police and RSPCA officers.
One ran onto the M56 where it was struck by a heavy lorry and later died. The lorry was damaged but the driver was not injured.
The other ostrich was eventually caught after a two hour operation in a field at Helsby.
It was returned to its owner.
