Bogus police burgle pensioner

1

FIVE men forced their way into an elderly man’s home and stole property from the house.
The men claimed to be police officers carrying out a drugs raid and one forced the 80-year-old man to the floor and held him there while the others searched the house.
Afterwards, all five ran off leaving their victim badly shaken but unhurt.
The raid was at a house in Williams Way, off Marsh Lane, Frodsham.
One of the offenders had a broad, Irish accent.
DC Darren Horton, who is leading the police investigation into the burglary said: “These men targeted an elderly and vulnerable man. It must have been a terrifying experience for him.”
He warned residents to be wary of unexpected callers claiming to be police or officials.
Any police officer would have a warrant card which they would be willing to show a householder.
Anyone who has any information about the incident is asked to call police on 0845 458 0000 or the confidential Crimestoppers line 0800 555 111.

  1. It’s a pity that the public in general can’t get hold of these low lifes, they’re not men but cowards in men’s bodies. No Cojones, mind you that’s what I’d like to do to them, castrate the fatherless swine.
