Victim suffered a broken cheek bone

POLICE are seeking witnesses of an attack on a Warrington man which left him with a broken cheek bone and fractured eye socket.
The attack took place in Wildespool Causeway, Warrington, near Morrison’s supermarket at around midnight.
A police spokesman said the victim, aged 18, had little recollection of what happened.
But he knew he left the China Red restaurant in Stockton Heath at about 11.30pm on Friday, May 30.
He remembers being chased across the London Road swing bridge, going towards Warrington and discovering he had blood on his hands and clothing.
He eventually met two women who called an ambulance which took him to Warrington Hospital.
The police spokesman said the victim of the attack was slim, with short dark hair and wore a white sports shirt.
Anyone who saw him in the vicinity on the night of Friday/Saturday May 30-31 should contact police on 0845 458 0000.
