ST GEORGE Healthcare Group have backed a charity dinner in Warrington to be held on St George’s Day – April 23.
The care and rehabilitation specialists have sponsored the patriotic celebration dinner and drinks reception.
All proceeds will be donated to Warrington Disability Partnership (WDP) – the user-led social enterprise based at Beaufort Street that promotes independent living.
WDP founder Dave Thompson (pictured) said: “We are delighted to mark the feast day of our Patron Saint by inviting local people to join us for a special feast of our own!
“What better organisation to partner with than St George Healthcare Group who not only share St George’s name, but also our values around taking a ‘can do’ approach to life. We warmly welcome people to join us for what promises to be a great night of entertainment.”
The evening will begin at 7pm with a drinks reception at Buckley’s – Warrington Collegiate’s own fine dining restaurant and bar. Wine will be provided with the three-course meal – all for just £25 per person.
Naser Fouad of St George Healthgroup said: “We are very proud to be involved in celebrating St George’s Day with Warrington Disability Partnership who – as a user-led organisation – promote positive change locally. As we share our name with this patriotic day we shall be hosting a number of events across our group to truly mark this very special day.”
Tickets to the event are limited and available on a ‘first come first served basis’.
