WARRINGTON Borough Council and Cheshire police are working to remove travellers who have set up “camp” on Victoria Park, Warrington.
About nine caravans and associated vehicles arrived on the park over the weekend.
A spokesperson for Warrington Council said: “We are aware of the encampment on Victoria Park and are working with Cheshire police to resolve the situation and will resort to court action if necessary.”
