Police appeal for witnesses after indecent exposure

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an indecent exposure in Warrington when a man attempted to grab a woman when she was out jogging in the Cinnamon Brow area.
The incident happened at around 7pm last Thursday (March 5) when a woman was out jogging. As she reached the junction of Enfield Park and Stirrup Close a man who was standing near a bus stop exposed himself and made an attempt to grab her.
The woman escaped and alerted passers-by who came to her aid. The man was seen to drive off in a grey car driving in an erratic manner, and in his attempt to escape the scene almost collided with the victim.
DS Darren Wright said: “We are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time to contact us. We are following a number of lines of enquiry but are keen to progress the investigation with the help of the public and are urging anyone with information to get in touch.”
