Cable fault closes a road

AN underground cable fault has closed a Warrington road.
An emergency order prohibiting traffic from using Marina Avenue, Great Sankey, between its junction with Liverpool Road and is junction with Ridley Drive, has been made by the borough council.
The closure could last up to five days according to the council.
Alternative routes have been signposted on site and access will be under the control of the contractor.
The closure is necessary to allow Scottish Power to carry out work on a 33kv cable fault.
