CARER Sarah Mills is hoping an appearance on TV’s popular “Come Dine with me” will be the recipe for success!
Sarah, aged 41, from Orford, Warrington, is set to feature as one of four contestants in the show which attracts an audience of around 5 million at the end of April or early May.
She first applied to be on the show six years ago and was surprised to suddenly get an email asking if she was still interested in taking part.
After a three hour audition she was told she had been successful and that is when the fun began!
“It is not quite as glamorous as it appears when you are watching on TV,” said Sarah.
“Filming took up to 12 hours a day and I had to put my cakes in the oven 17 times for various camera shots.
“All I can say about the outcome is that we had a fun night at my house which ended up with me dressed as a police woman!
“I am hoping an appearance on the TV screens may lead to more TV work!”
Sarah served up a prawn cocktail, chicken chilli and Spanish orange and sticky ginger cake.
