KIND hearted staff at Warrington-based Your Housing Group raised £700 for the British Heart Foundation by taking part in their “Wear It Beat It” campaign.
A host of fundraising activities were organised at the group’s Birchwood headquarters including a raffle, a quiz, a smoothie exercise bike and fitness sessions. Everyone also paid £2 to wear something red for the day.
A cake sale was held in the café and free tea and coffee served.
Your Housing Group’s well being manager, Paula Jones said: “The fundraiser was a tremendous success with everyone getting involved.
“One in four people die due to heart and circulatory disease. The British Heart Foundation’s research has transformed the lives of people living with heart and circulatory conditions and their work has been central to the discoveries of vital treatments. It was great to help such a good cause and have fun at the same time .”
Your Housing Group, established in 2012, is one of the UK’s largest social housing providers, with more than 33,000 homes across the North West.
