BRITISH Transport Police has released images of two men they would like to speak to following the theft of a bike from Warrington Bank Quay Station.
The grey, Carrera Vengeance mountain bike was taken at around 2.30pm on Friday November 28.
Investigating officer PS Andrew Tomkins said: “The owner locked his bike in the racks between platforms 1 and 2 at around 7.15am and boarded a train. When he returned at 5.30pm he found that both the bike and lock had been stolen.
“We believe the men in the images could have vital information about the theft and urge them or anyone who recognises them to come forward.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 405040, or text 61016, quoting background reference PSUB/B7 OF 4/12/14.
Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
