WARRINGTON’S stunning Walton Hall and Gardens – recently featured on nationwide television in the popular “Our Zoo” drama series – is staging a bridal fair on Sunday.
Brides and grooms to-be, their friends and families are invited to come along and see the hall set up in all its glory.
Local suppliers including florists, photographers and luxury car suppliers will be exhibiting throughout the venue, showcasing their products and advising and inspiring couples about how to make the most of their big day.
A dedicated events manager will also be on hand, offering tours of the building and grounds, providing guidance on the availability of the hall and gardens, and advice on food and drink packages and room options, available for weddings.
Doors will be open from 12noon until 4pm, entry is free and all guests will be greeted with a complementary glass of bucks fizz and a goody bag on arrival, whilst stocks last.
Cllr Kate Hannon, Warrington Borough council’s lead member for leisure, community and culture, said: “Walton Hall is a unique venue in a truly idyllic setting, and a spectacular place to get married at any time of the year. It’s an asset Warrington is especially proud of, and our
weddings, event and catering function is going from strength-to-strength as more people become aware of its assets and its popularity grows.
“During the winter months it can be particularly magical, and it is the perfect place for a cosy pre-Christmas celebration. The oak panelled hall, gilded ceilings and dramatic outdoor landscaping providing spectacular photo opportunities that are unrivalled in or around Warrington.
“I’d encourage any bride-to-be to come along to the bridal fair, to meet local suppliers and see for themselves just how idyllic a venue Walton Hall and Gardens is.”
