Business brainwave for children's charity

CHILDREN’S charity Brainwave is hoping for its biggest ever annual “swing and sparkle ball” thanks to help of local business, ClearSky.
The ball takes place on November 15 at The Mere in Knutsford, will be sponsored by the Centre Park based business, and includes a three-course meal, live big band music from Dr Jazz and the Cheshire Cats and performances of swing classics by singers.
Brainwave, based in Birchwood, helps children with disabilities and additional needs to achieve greater independence and fulfil their potential.
Therapists work with families to devise tailored educational and physical programmes that focus on improving mobility and communication skills.
Joanne Freeman, regional community fundraising manager at Brainwave, said: “We can’t thank ClearSky enough for agreeing to support the event.
“Brainwave prides itself on maintaining a good relationship with the business community in Warrington and beyond.
“The partnership with ClearSky, which helps so many small businesses in the area, is therefore a perfect fit.
“We are now focused on ensuring the ball raises more money than any of the previous events, as we look to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Brainwave in the North West in style.”
ClearSky Business is a one-stop shop for small and medium-sized firms seeking fixed-fee support and advice on everything from accountancy, payroll and tax to human resources and employment law.
There will also be networking opportunities on the night.
Businesses interested in attending the ball, or contributing prizes to the charity auction, can contact Joanne Freeman on 07872 411 580 or [email protected].
