New photograph service at Contact Warrington

RESIDENTS who apply for blue badges or concessionary travel applications can now benefit from a new service at Contact Warrington.
Customers can now have their photographs taken for these applications in the centre on Horsemarket Street at a cost of just £3.
This will reduce the time required to process the application and avoid any inconvenience if the photograph provided is rejected. The passport-style photograph can also be e-mailed to the customer.
There is still an option for residents to provide their own photograph if they would prefer, provided it meets the required standard.
Cllr Hitesh Patel, executive board member for personnel and communications said: “This new service will not only reduce delays in the processing of applications but we are also offering the service at a much cheaper rate compared to the average price for passport photographs, which is around £6.
“As a council we are committed to delivering a quality customer service and this is just one of the things that we have developed to make it as easy as possible for our residents to access vital services.”
