Two weeks of closures for A56

0

ONE of Warringon’s busiest main roads will be closed to traffic at times over a period of two weeks from August 11.
The A56 Higher Lane at Lymm will be subject to a traffic regulation order between its junctions with The Crescent to its junction with Grammar School Road.
An alternative route will be via the A50 Knutsford Road, Cliffe Lane, West Lane and High Legh Road and vice versa.
The closure is required to allow United Utilities to carry out work on a damaged sewer and will be in force as and when signs are on site.
Contractors will maintain access for residents as far as possible.
