Chris Simm had the best of the Town chances.
Meanwhile on Saturday 17-year-old Ben Collins scored a debut pre-season goal, along with Ben Wharton (2) Scott Metcalfe (2), Matt Doughty, Phil Mooney, Chris Bandell and Ash Ruane.
