Arson attack at rear of shop

POLICE are investigating a fire at Warrington which is believed to have been the work of arsonists.
The blaze involved a tent behind a shop on Winwick Road. Fire crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire but the tent was severely damaged.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police on 101 or the Crimestoppers anonymous hotline on 0800 555 111.
In another incident, fire crews from Warrington and Widnes were called to a blaze involving hay bales and grass at a farm in Northwich Road, Dutton.
Heavy plant machinery was used to move bales and two hose reel jets were used to tackle the outbreak.
