WARRINGTON Market’s annual Classic Transport Show returns to the town centre on Saturday June 28.
This year’s show sees the return of the popular Formula one car from the Jaguar team which was the actual car driven by Eddie Irvine between 2000 and 2002.
The classic transport show will take place across the town centre
between 10am–4pm with the F1 Car on display on the forecourt of Warrington market in Time Square.
Joining in with the fun on the day will be Laurel and Hardy with their old classic car and the Radio Warrington live road show will on hand to play some old classic tunes!
Cllr Mike Hannon, deputy leader of the borough council, (pictured above at a previous event) said: “This is always a great event with people travelling from far and wide to see classic transport on display. Whether you are a car enthusiast or not, this might be your only chance to get close to an F1 car so don’t miss it!”
Anyone who would like to exhibit a classic car, motorbike, steam engine or any other type of transport should contact Warrington market on 01925 632571 to book a place.
The event is free to take part in, however exhibitors must register in advance before being allocated a pitch.
