WARRINGTON’S 96-bedroom Holiday Inn is up for sale – along with 20 other hotels in the group across the country.
These include the 136-bedroom hotel at Haydock and the 153-bedroom Holiday Inn at Runcorn.
The group has a price tag of £70 million-plus.
According to specialist property advisers Christie and Co, there is considerable early interest in the portfolio.
Offers for individual hotels, or small groups of hotels, will be considered and guide prices will be made available to serious potential bidders
Jeremy Jones, director of corporate hotels at Christie and Co, said: “Strong interest has already been shown in all the hotels, which are being offered free of management and with an interim Holiday Inn franchise agreement until the end of this year, and as such we have set a first round offer deadline of June 11.”
Warrington’s Holiday Inn is on Woolston Grange Avenue, close to the M6, M62, M56 interchange.
