MEMBERS of the Mid-Cheshire Footpath Society have joined forces with Appleton Parish Council to produce a 12-page booklet detailing circular walks in the parish.
The booklet is to be uploaded to a new website being prepared for the council but will also be available in hard copy.
There are 10 circular walks in the book, varying from 2.2 to 6.3 miles in length. Most of them start from the Parish Hall in Dudlow Green Road. They also vary in difficulty, although the society says none are difficult. Some can be walked in stout shoes, but others requiring walking boots – particularly in set weather.
They total some 40 miles in length, some straying into neighbouring parishes.
