School entrance facelift approved

PLANNING chiefs have given the go-ahead for improvements to the main entrance at St Monica’s Primary School, Appleton.
The proposal involves a single storey extension to the entrance to provide a larger and enhanced reception area and improved entrance safety.
Cllr Sheila Woodyatt said: “This is an excellent scheme which will bring about a big improvement to the entrance and make it safer.”
