Two escape from blaze house

TWO people escaped from a house at Warrington after fire broke out early today.
The blaze was at a terraced house in Ripley Street, Whitecross and two fire engines were sent to the scene shortly before 1.30am.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the fire using two hose reel jets and afterwards a high pressure fan was used to clear smoke from the building.
The two occupants were alerted by smoke alarms and one was taken to hospital as a precaution.
An investigation has started to determine the cause of the outbreak.
