AN exhibition of photography by pupils from two Warrington schools and their counterparts in German twin-town Hilden is on show in Brussels.
Children from William Beamont and Birchwood high schools were involved in the exhibition last summer.
The exhibition “Identity – that’s me” (Identitat – das bin ich) was on show simultaneously in Warrington and Hilden between June and September.
The 40 original pictures, plus statements from the young artists, are now on show again – this time at the Representation Building of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia to the European Union.
Cllr Colin Froggatt, the borough council’s executive member for children and young people’s services said: “The Comenius Regio Project has been a great experience for all young people involved and I would like to congratulate them all on this international exhibition. I
“It is wonderful to think that the creative work of local schools is being seen in Brussels.”
