FIREFIGHTERS were called out to reports of a forklift truck fire at commercial premises at Omega, Warrington, yesterday (Thursday).
At 15:31 one crew from Penketh attended at premises on Catalina Approach.
A battery cell in a forklift truck was on fire. Firefighters used a hose reel jet to cool the machine before placing the battery into a bucket of water to cool it down and monitor the temperature.
