Warrington band is asking for YOUR vote

2

A WARRINGTON band is one of 50 acts up for a chance to play mainstage at Camden Rocks – an all day event at London’s prestigious venue KOKO.
Joe Hatton and his band are a distinctive, new alt-folk/indie outfit from Warrington – and members of the public can vote from them at http://woobox.com/qwymh4/k6sssv
and vote for Joe Hatton. Deadline for voting is 6pm on April 11.
The band has established a reputation for themselves, gigging extensively and making a real impact through the strength of their songwriting and the effectiveness of their live act.
Creatively they draw on an eclectic range of influences including various legendary bands and artists spread over many decades. They draw on the folkier side of Conor Oberst, and yet evoke elements of indie veterans The Coral and The Vaccines. The Beatles inevitably play a major part, particularly in the band’s inventive and tasteful use of harmonies in most songs. Bob Dylan, The La’s, Tom Petty, Neil Young, The Rolling Stones and Noel Gallagher have also been formative influences.
However the 5-piece have developed their own individualistic style which blends and blurs the lines between all of the above and adds something strikingly unique of their own. The band was formed within a group of existing friends, who all shared a huge passion for music. The line up is: Joe Hatton (Guitar and Vocals), Lindsay Hatton (Keys), Matt Selma (Bass), Dan Brown (Guitar) and Conor Lawrance (Drums)
