TWO people were arrested following an early-morning drugs raid at a property in Burtonwood, Warrington, earlier today, Wednesday.
Officers from the Warrington West and Warrington North beat teams executed a Section 8 warrant at a house in the Fairclough Street area at around 6:11 am on Wednesday, 8 July.
During the search, police discovered quantities of both Class A and Class B drugs inside the property.
A 26-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs (cannabis).
A 24-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs (cannabis) and possession of Class A drugs (cocaine).
Cheshire Police confirmed that both individuals have since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
