Residents evacuated following building collapse

RESIDENTS were evacuated following the partial collapse of a property in Winifred Street, Warrington last night.

Emergency services attended at the scene and road closures were put in place and residents evacuated while structural engineers were called to make the building safe.

The incident is not thought to be suspicious and there were no reports of injuries.
