KINGSLEY got their TACS partnership Cheshire League season off to a good start with a seven wicket victory over Haslington.
The Crewe site batted first and were dismissed for 91, Matthew Gabbott taking 3-34 and James Faint 3-1.
Kingsley replied with 92-3, Mitchell Headrick hitting a fine 50 and Alan Richie 22 not out.
The 2nd XI match went the other way, however, with Haslington batting first and totalling 182-7, Jonathan Storey taking 2-47, Andrew Brath 2-13 and Andrew Ainsworth 2-28.
Kingsley were tumbled out for 69, with only Alex Wilson, 15 and Chris Martin, 10 not out, reaching double figures.
