THERE will be no bin collections in Warrington until January 4th!
Many local residents have not had a refuse collection for two weeks due to the poor weather conditions.
A black bin collection service will resume on January 4 when an additional three sacks can be left by the side of the wheelie bin.
The community recycling centres at Stockton Heath, Woolston and Gateworth are open as normal from today for recycling and additonal waste.

Has no-one told WBC that the snow has now melted?????
Is it posible that we could have an explanation, as to why there will be no bin collections in Warrington until January 4th? Or is this just part of the cutbacks that we were promised? Will these cutbacks be reflected in our next council tax bill?
Thanks in advance.

From your memo:

8. Will there be waste collections between Christmas and New Year? If not, why not?
A: Our regular services operate between Tuesday and Friday each week. There are normally just three working days between Christmas and New Year which means that we couldn’t provide a service to all areas. We took the decision several years ago to cease collections between the holiday periods so as not to confuse the public with changes to collection days.

Surely, it is about time that this decision was reviewed? Re: Health & Safety.
