IT’S business as usual at Arley Hall and Gardens – and it will remain so until they are advised differently.
That’s the message from the hall today as the impact of COVID-19 continues to spread.
In a statement, the hall management said: “We continuation to monitor the situation extremely closely and take our lead from official government and publication health communications and updates. We want to share with you, as our visitors, all of the measures we are taking at Arley to remain open and to keep offering you a fabulous day out in an environment where you and your family will feel safe.
“We’ve increased the frequency of our cleaning routines and will be focusing on all touch points like door handles, counters and payment areas with anti-bacterial wipes and disinfectant sprays.
“We will ensure all our toilet areas have plenty of soap, hot water and disposable hand towels, to encourage everyone to follow government advice around hand washing when visiting us.
“Testers within the Gift Shop (e.g. lip balms) have been removed and sampling of edibles (chocolate / fudge pieces) has been discontinued.
“We will be encouraging the use of debit / credit card transactions so customers and employees are not handling cash as frequently and we will have hand wipes at all payment areas so that staff and customers can keep clean after contact.
“We are open and until advised differently will continue to be. With the efforts of everyone at Arley, including our visitors, we will work together to keep ourselves safe and healthy.
“Thank you for supporting us during this time of uncertainty.”
