Steve Price makes four changes for Salford trip

Warrington Wolves Head Coach Steve Price has shuffled the pack ahead of Thursday’s trip to Salford, with Co-Captain Chris Hill among the players to miss out.

With the game coming less than five days after their impressive victory over St Helens in the Challenge Cup Final, Price has elected to rest some of his star names.

Hill misses out alongside fellow front-rower Mike Cooper, while there is no place in the 19-man squad for Toby King or Dec Patton.

Matty Smith, who was ineligible for last weekend’s game at Wembley, returns to the fold alongside Luther Burrell, Lama Tasi and Danny Walker.

The game kicks off at the AJ Bell Stadium at 7.45pm, with Warrington just two points ahead of sixth-placed Castleford, albeit with a far superior points difference.

Warrington 19-man squad: Akauola, Burrell, Charnley, D.Clark, J.Clark, Currie, Davis, Goodwin, Hughes, Lineham, Livett, Mamo, Murdoch-Masila, Philbin, Ratchford, Smith, Tasi, Walker, Westwood
