Three arrested following town centre disorder

THREE males were arrested by Warrington Police following a public disorder in the town centre during the early hours of this morning.

The incident took place at 03:40 when officers moved in to deal with an incident on Academy Way.

As a result three males were arrested for allegations of assault and public order.

Earlier at 0229 a male was arrested for an allegation of Drunk and Disorderly behaviour following ejection from a town centre bar.

Then 0305 a female was arrested for an allegation of Drunk and Disorderly behaviour in the town centre.
