Fire crews tackle kitchen blaze

FIRE ENGINES from Warrington and Penketh were called to a kitchen fire at a house in Grace Avenue, Orford.
The blaze involved the cooker and crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
They were at the scene for almost half-an-hour around 7pm last night. There were no reports of injuries.
