Collision causes rush hour delays on M6

A collision involving two cars resulted in two lanes of the M6 at Warrington being closed this morning.

The incident took place on the Northbound carriageway near junction 21 at Woolston causing tailbacks to junction 20 near Lymm.

Lanes three and four were closed while emergency services attended at the scene with traffic delays reported of 45 minutes.

Normal traffic conditions are anticipated at 9.45am-10am
