THE Cleanup Warrington team are holding their final litter pick of the year today (Saturday).
Anyone who wants to join them should go to Barrow Hall Lane, Great Sankey – near to the former primary school entrance – where the team plan to target verges, paths and nearby woodland areas.
Originally, it was intended to home in on the Callands playground area, but this is relatively clear of litter at present so the team have decided to switch to Barrow Hall.
Previous litter picks in Barrow Hall have not been as well supported as those at Westbrook but the team are hoping today’s event will attract plenty of volunteers.
Collection bags, litter-pickers and tabards will be provided, but volunteers are asked to take gloves, appropriate clothing and sturdy boots.
