Who’s not afraid to see Virginia Woolf?

1

TICKETS are still available for Warrington-based Armchair Theatre’s production of “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf” on Thursday and Friday, September 28-29.
The play goes on at Runcorn’s Brindley Theatre and is a must for anyone who fancies a cocktail of black humour, brutal, hilarious lines and a storyline where nothing is ever quite as it seems.
The story?
Well, when middle-aged Martha and her husband George are joined by the younger Nick and Honey for late-night drinks after a party, the stage is set for a night of drunken recriminations and revelations.
Battle- lines are drawn as Martha and George drag their guests into their own private hell of marriage.
Curtain up is at 7:30pm.
Tickets are available on-line from the Brindley Theatre https://tickets.thebrindley.org.uk/en-GB/shows/who’s%20afraid%20of%20virginia%20woolf_/events/2 or by calling the Box Office 0151 907 8360

  1. “A fine handsome group”! I must say. This play is up there with the 20 best plays ever written. I had seen it in London a few months ago on the West End ,and it simply blew me away! If you have the chance to go and see it ,then don’t miss out. A MUST SEE!
