A WOMAN was cut free from her car and rushed to hospital following a collision involving a van on Alder Lane, Burtonwood, which resulted in the road being closed.
Firecrews, paramedics and police attended at the scene at around 15.50 today (Friday) following the collision involving a Mitsibushi car and transit van.
Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to help free the woman, who was then handed to the care of paramedics before being taken to hospital.
