Woman remains “critical” in hospital after stabbing

A WOMAN in her 50s remains critically ill in hospital today following a multiple stabbing incident at Woolston in the early hours of Sunday morning.
But police say her condition is “stable.”
She is one of three people taken to Warrington Hospital following what police describe as a “serious domestic incident” in Alder Road, Woolston at around 2am on Sunday.
The other two are a 28-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man, both said to be in a stable condition. Police say the two women suffered multiple puncture wounds.
A crime scene has been established on Alder Road while officers investigate the circumstances.
Police have said they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident but anyone with information that could help is urged to call 101 quoting incident 98 of May 7.
