Vandals blamed for blaze

VANDALS are being blamed for a fire on open land off O’Leary Street, Warrington last night.
The blaze involved an abandoned settee and firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish it.
A Fire Service spokesperson said it was believed the fire had been started deliberately. If anyone had information about the incident they should call police on 101 or use the anonymous Crimestoppers hot line on 0800 555 111.
