Emergency gas works cause lane closure on A49

MOTORISTS have been warned to try and avoid the A49 Winwick Road, Warrington where emergency gas works have started.
The work, at the junction with Long Lane, are likely to last for about one week, according to contractors.
The dual carriageway heading northbound out of town has been reduced to one lane.
Congestion is likely at rush hour periods.
