FAST growing Warrington-based document-management specialists the Sharples Group are investing £250,000 on the expansion of its offices and warehouse space to meet increasing demand for its range of products.
Sales Director David Griffiths said the popularity and reputation of the companmy’s products and services had grown so significantly that there was no question about the need to create additional office space for  the independent 26 employee, £3.2 million annual turnover print and copier business.
He said: “We are preparing the documentation for a planning application which, if accepted, would provide us with a third more floor space than we currently have. If our application gets the go-ahead we could start work on the expansion work in the New Year.
“The new space will be designed sympathetically with the existing lay-out and will be a positive improvement from the point of view of staff and customers.”
Mr Griffiths added: “This new investment is a move to facilitate further growth. The additional space will allow us to deal with an increasing number of clients in the positive and professional manner that our customers expect.”
In 2002, Mr Griffiths and fellow director and MD Mark Brocklehurst joined forces to buy-out the company. Since then the Sharples Group has enjoyed consistent growth and earned a reputation for offering a highly knowledgeable and value for money service, alongside its “Principle before Profit” ethos.
