Dangerous dogs seized by police

TWO dangerous dogs have been seized from a Warrington address by police.

Both animals are now in the care of the RSPCA following the raid on a property in Wilderspool Causeway, Warrington, earlier today (Friday.)

One of the dogs is believed to have been used in a violent crime in 2009.

A police spokesperson said: “Dogs are not weapons, they are working dogs and family pets. Treat them with care, they deserve the loyalty they give you.”

The dogs were handed into the care of the RSPCA after it transpired the owner did not have the landlord’s permission to keep them at the property.
