WARRINGTON Wolves back-rower George King and academy centre Harvey Livett have committed to the club until the end of 2017.

King, 20, has agreed a deal to keep him at the Halliwell Jones Stadium alongside brother Toby, while Livett has signed his first full-time deal.

Head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith said: “George has really come on this year.

“He’s had a fantastic season having played 19 matches, developing from being a replacement player to starting the last four games.

“He’s progressed exceptionally well and we are really pleased that he has penned another deal.

“We believe he has a really bright future and will hopefully go on to bigger and better things here at Warrington.

“We are delighted for George and the club.

“We recognise that Harvey has some real potential.

“He’s been training with the full-time squad throughout parts of this year to get a taste of it and he’s been exceptional in his attitude.

“He’s earned his position in the squad and I can see him going on to have a good future with us.”

King made his first team debut in June 2014 and has gone on to make 19 appearances this season.

Livett, 18, played his junior rugby at Rylands and has come through the club’s academy system, featuring 17 times for the Under 19s in 2015.

He is yet to make his Super League debut.
