A dazzling fireworks display will light up the sky at Gulliver’s World, with the theme park enjoying extended opening hours for the day.
On Saturday, November 7, the Warrington resort will open from noon, with visitors able to enjoy extra ride time as selected rides and attractions will remain open until 7.30pm, and the Fireworks Spectacular event taking place around 8pm.
Craig Clews, resort director at Gulliver’s World, said: “This is always one of our most popular events of the year and it’s a wonderful way for us to mark the end of the autumn season, say thank you to everyone who has visited us this year and then turn our full attention to Christmas activities which launch in full swing!
“The following Saturday, November 14, will see our Winter Wonderland open every weekend until December 20, after which it will open each day, up to and including Christmas Eve.”
Before the fireworks entertainment gets underway on November 7, there’s lots for visitors to pack into the day.
There are the 50+ rides, attractions, shows and activities on offer at Gulliver’s World, including an incredible recent addition – the magical Land of Oz themed area, featuring the Upside Down House, which defies gravity by turning everything on its head.
Two of the newest rides are The Winged Monkeys Wicked-inspired adventure, and the Munchkin Motors, where families can drive through the Land of Oz.
All the popular rides will be available, such as the Pirate Ship, Desperado Drop, The Antelope Wooden Coaster, and the park’s amazing animatronic dinosaurs.
And not forgetting the Gulliver’s Gears car-themed area, for all motoring fans (young and old!), which features the Grand Prix Racer rollercoaster and Overdrive, a 360-degree thrill and one of Gulliver’s most daring rides.
Children under 90cms go free and car parking is also free of charge.
